Dr. John Bryan is a board certified M.D. Eye Surgeon who has practiced in Tulsa over twenty years and performed over 10,000 eye surgeries. He has performed LASIK surgery since its approval in the United States and before that was a pioneer in the earlier types of refractive surgery, Radial Keratotomy, Photorefractive Keratectomy, and Automatic Lamellar Keratoplasty.  Dr. John Bryan performed the first No-Stitch Cataract surgery in Oklahoma and has been one of the leaders in CK and ReSTOR lens surgery for Presbyopia.

Dr. John Bryan was born in Harrison, Arkansas and graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Medicine in 1974. He completed his internship at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa and completed a post-graduate residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Missouri where he was Chief Resident Physician.

He established his practice in Tulsa in 1978 and subsequently joined the prestigious Tulsa Eye Clinic at 7171 South Yale in 1990. Dr. John Bryan has been active in the Ophthalmic community having been a past-president of the Tulsa Ophthalmology Society, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Ophthalmology for the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine.
